Winninghoff Park Ice Rink Location And Event Calendar Driving Instructions: The Ice Rink is located in the heart of downtown Philipsburg on Scenic Highway 1, midway between Butte and Missoula. To get here from Missoula drive East on I-90 and take the Hwy. 1 exit at Drummond. From Butte drive West on I-90 and take the Anaconda exit. Continue on Hwy 1 past Georgetown Lake and the Discovery Ski Resort to Philipsburg. The Ice Rink address is 106 Stockton St.

Ice Rink Availability:

The rink is open to the public unless reserved for specific activities or events. Please consult the Rink Calendar below. Most activities do not require exclusive use of the entire rink. Events requiring exclusive use will be labeled: RINK RESERVED.
There is no fee for general use but any donations to our building fund will be greatly appreciated. There are no restrictions on the hours of use except to allow for maintenance. This includes snow removal and ice restoration. After a heavy snow there may be a delay of up to 24 hours before the rink is again available for use. Ice restoration operations, such as flooding, usually are done at night, after 9:00 PM. The stadium lights are generally turned off at 10:00 PM but a manually operated floodlight is always available.
